Spencer Museum of Art

My first website recommendation has got to be the Spencer Museum of Art’s website. I have had so much inspiration Carrie Alma Hackett Hall, a woman born in 1866 and sewed her first quilt at the age of seven. Carrie was an enthusiastic quilt who decided to piece a fabric block for every known patchwork pattern. She completed 884. Carrie donated these to the Spencer Museum of Art, and as a result 800+ quilt blocks are displayed on this site.
